Custom Home Design is where Su Casa started. And even though we have grown to also service our clients with more services, the heart of where we came from is still strong.
When Andy Friesen started Su Casa more than a decade ago, it was always with the client in mind. Su Casa means “Your Home” in Spanish and it’s always been Andy’s intent that the design reflects what the client wants, and not what we would want. The client MUST be at the centre of the design.
And even though we’ve included Interior Design, Exterior Design, Furniture Selection and even an Online Shop, the heart of who we are is still the same. It’s not about us, but about the client.
A Su Casa-designed home is truly one-of-a-kind. Our designers are passionate about making the process seamless from start to finish, providing residential building plans that are complete and ready for approval, wherever you live.
Collaboration is the key to a successful custom home build, and we’re always thinking about the fine details – from the grand entrance, to flow and function and every corner in between.

We marry beautiful, unique designs, along with functionality. Why have a wall or closet where it doesn’t make sense? We want to make sure that the design doesn’t override the use of the home.
A Variety of Designs
Let’s be honest, although we enjoy the larger home projects as it gives a lot of room to be creative, we are just as excited to design a cabin, garage, pool house or 1,500 sq ft bungalow. We’ve even been known to work on a chicken coop or two in the past!
