    About This Role

    We’re seeking a highly organized, customer-focused individual to join us in the role of Administrative and Sales Assistant on a maternity leave contract, with a minimum term of 18 months.

    As our front-of-house lead, you’ll make a lasting first impression with our clients, support our sales team, and help keep our operations running smoothly. This role blends administrative excellence with sales support—qualifying leads, coordinating intake meetings, developing proposals, maintaining accurate CRM data, and keeping our team organized and equipped.

    In addition, you’ll support our culture by planning internal events and overseeing day-to-day office needs with pride and ownership. You love systems, you thrive on keeping things running seamlessly, and people are naturally drawn to your warm and professional communication.

    Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide a WOW experience for our clientele by ensuring timely and professional communication to clients, prospects, and vendors
    • Ensure lead and client data is maintained and accurate in our CRM
    • Ensure process is followed for every design project, working closely with the Project Coordinator to elevate the client experience
    • Prepare Fee Proposals and other document packages to ensure every project and every client has the right information at the right time
    • Coordinate and plan internal team events, and support logistics for client and vendor events
    • Champion and own all day-to-day office needs (e.g., ordering supplies, coordinating cleaners, maintaining office readiness)
    • Continuously look for efficiencies and improvements in how we deliver our “High Tech for High Touch” experience

    What You Bring

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required; post-secondary diploma an asset
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • At least 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience working with CRM systems considered a strong asset
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Naturally administrative—loves creating order and process
    • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, team-driven culture
    • Capable of managing multiple priorities and seeing tasks through to completion

    Compensation is between $21.00-$26.00 with experience

  • Junior Interior Designer

    Position
    Full-Time, Permanent

    About This Role

    As a Junior Interior Designer, you’ll be an essential support to our Intermediate and Senior Designers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing meaningfully to the full design process. You’ll work on residential custom homes and development projects, learning the ropes while building the practical and creative skills you need to grow into an intermediate role.

    This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Abbotsford design studio.

    What You’ll Do

    ~ Collaborate with intermediate and senior designers on all phases of design — from concept to construction. Project types include:

    New Construction, Custom Residential Homes
    Renovations, Custom Residential Homes
    Furniture & Styling
    New Residential Development Project

    ~ Assist in developing full design drawing packages and specification documentation for tender and construction.
    ~ Contribute to space planning, finish and fixture selection, and millwork design.

    ~ Attend site visits and coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.

    ~ Support the creation of client presentations and mood boards.

    ~ Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage your time, and communicate proactively with the team.
    ~ Gain exposure to project management, client meetings, and proposal development.

    What You Bring

    Education & Experience

    ~ Diploma or Degree from an NCIDQ-accredited Interior Design program.
    ~ 1–3 years of professional experience in residential interior design (multi-family and development experience is an asset).

    Technical Skills and Practical Knowledge

    ~ Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    ~ Familiarity with Revit, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
    ~ Understanding of residential construction processes and the BC Building Code is an asset.
    ~ Exposure to millwork, finishing joinery, and residential materials and fixtures.
    ~ Working knowledge of local suppliers and trade contacts.
    ~ Ability to create/assist in developing full Design Drawings for Tender & Construction
    ~ Ability to create/assist in developing full Specification Packages for Tender & Construction.
    ~ Ability to self-manage assigned project tasks, personal workload and project deliverables/deadlines with guidance from Intermediate/Senior Designers on team.

    Professional Skills

    ~ Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    ~ Confident communicator with strong verbal and written English.
    ~ Organized, proactive, and eager to learn from feedback.

  • Intermediate Drafting Technician and Project Lead

    Position
    Full-Time, Permanent

    What The Role Looks Like

    The Intermediate Drafting Technician & Project Lead is experienced in supporting the Drafting Team Lead by producing quality drawings with strong communication skills to ensure the success of their projects and client satisfaction. They will also thrive in their career by being a continual learner and pushing the boundaries of what has already been done. Strong problem-solving skills and innovation are essential to be successful in this position.

    Responsibilities

    ~ Creation of preliminary and construction/permit drawings for custom single-family homes, leading the project’s progression throughout until completion
    ~ Able to see a project’s drawings from concept to permit ready with direction from the Drafting Team Lead, and with assistance from other team members where applicable.
    ~
    Analyze complicated siting, zoning, client requirements in various jurisdictions with help of the Drafting Team lead
    ~
    Develop floor plan and exterior concepts based on sketches/direction from Creative Lead
    ~
    Understand and apply implications of zoning, code requirements to concept drawings in discussion with the Drafting Team Lead
    ~
    Show a growing ability to redline drawings, checking personal work and others for accuracy and presentation quality. Show growth in being able to problem solve
    ~
    Develop construction drawing package
    ~
    Visit project sites when required along with the Creative Director to discuss and analyze siting, views, project constraints with the clients

    Communicate with clients in an ongoing and prompt manner to understand their needs and design requirements.
    Communicate with clients to discuss the implications of site constraints, project challenges, city requirements with help of Drafting Team lead if needed.
    Comfortable in communicating in person or phone, email, video
    Show growth in communication and confidence with city officials and consultants to discuss zoning requirements, project challenges.

    ~ Strong Communication – Internal

    Consistently follow up on projects status with all parties, questions and outstanding requirements, ‘owning’ the issue.
    Show a growing ability to identify potential issues, develop trouble shooting and discussing with your team
    Review work completed by juniors on projects with little familiarity.
    Organize and file project related information.
    Work in a team-oriented approach, willing to jump on high-priority projects to assist others in meeting deadlines.

    Qualifications

    ~ A certificate, degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting, or Architectural and Building Technology (or a related discipline) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
    ~ Minimum 6-7 years of Drafting or Architectural experience in Single Family Design required.
    ~ Proficient in modelling & drafting in Revit, familiar with AutoCAD software for coordination
    ~ Proven track record of achieving goals in a deadline-based industry and regularly shows the ability to seek out and finds solutions to problems as they come up while maintaining project schedules.
    ~ Display a technical knowledge of building systems, construction methods and materials.
    ~ Display an understanding of BC Building Code and building envelope concepts.
    ~ Able to work in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects at once.

  • Senior Residential Drafting Technician

    Position
    Full-Time, Permanent
    NOTE: Only applicants that are willing to work in person at our Abbotsford Design Studio will be considered.

    What The Role Looks Like

    Working full time at our Abbotsford location, the Senior Drafting Technician is experienced in supporting the Drafting Team Lead by producing quality drawings in an expedient manner. They will also support the team lead by having excellent communication skills and by being a continual learner.

    Responsibilities

    ~ Creation of preliminary and construction/permit drawings for custom single-family homes.
    ~ Develop floor plan and exterior concepts based on sketches/direction from Creative Lead
    ~ Able to see a project from concept to permit ready with or without other team members where applicable.
    ~ Analyze complicated siting, zoning, client requirements in various jurisdictions.
    ~ Understand and apply implications of zoning, code requirements to concept drawings.
    ~ Redline revisions with ability to check his or her own work for accuracy and being able to problem solve.
    ~ Organize and file project related information.
    ~ Work in a team-oriented approach, willing to jump on high-priority projects to assist others in meeting deadlines.

    Proficient in Communications

    ~ With other colleagues drafting / design team members
    ~ With clients and consultants to see a project through to permit ready drawings.
    ~ With city planners, plan checkers to resolve project deficiencies
    ~ Any CAD related problems and questions to a Team Leader or CAD manager.
    ~ Requirements of design to colleagues/ junior drafting team members where required.

    Qualifications
